Grandmother's Place

Grandmother's Place (The Dining Hall) is the newest addition to Awanita Valley. Named Grandmother's Place
in honor of grandmothers everywhere, was built in 2002. It houses up to 700 campers at one time. A built-in
stage and sound system help make dinner hour more than just your average dining experience. Large plate-
glass windows overlooking the lake add a serene setting to every meal. Bathrooms, laundry facilities, vending
machines, and a covered picnic area make the dining hall a comfortable place to wait for hummer rides, watch
the horses, or just enjoy the scenery.
