Directions to Awanita Camp
600 Gap Creek Road, Marietta, SC 29661
ENTRANCE FOR ALL VEHICLES AND CHARTER BUSES
From I-85 Atlanta, Florida, or Greenville:
Take 1-85 towards Greenville, South Carolina
Take HWY 25 North on White Horse Road/ Greenville
Stay straight until you see the split of HWY 276 and 25, fork to the right on HWY 25
From that point, you will be about 30 minutes from the camp
You will pass through the town of Travelers Rest
You will pass the "Cliff's Golf Course" on your right
Look for a green state road sign with "Awanita Valley Camp"
Turn Left onto Gap Creek Road and stay straight for 2.7 miles
Look for our "Awanita Valley Camp" sign and turn LEFT onto a gravel road.
Coming up the gravel road, you will notice an automatic gate and a gate keypad
Please speak closely to the speaker and announce your name and what church you are with.
Follow the signs to the Camp Office which is located at the back of the Chateau.
From Interstate 26 Charlotte, Asheville, Tennessee:
Take I-26 towards Ashveille/Hendersonville, North Carolina
Take exit 54 "HWY 25/Greenville" (You are still in NC)
Stay straight on Hwy 25 for about 20 minutes
Once you come into South Carolina start slowing down
Look for a green state road sign with "Awanita Valley Camp"
Turn RIGHT onto Gap Creek Road and stay straight for 2.7 miles
Look for our "Awanita Valley Camp" sign and turn LEFT onto a gravel road.
Coming up the gravel road, you will notice an automatic gate and a gate keypad
