Awanita Valley Staff
Donald and Chloe Baltz
are the founders of Awanita Valley and have dedicated their lives to the ministry since 1955. Their love for children and reaching them for Christ has been a life long passion and God has blessed them with the capabilites to provide youth and adult groups a peaceful place to reach them for the Kingdom of God. Don went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2009.
Rick & Angie Lancaster
Rick and Angie are part of the full-time staff who reside at camp. Rick handles a variety of responsibilities which include but not limited to overseeing operations of camp, maintenance, PR with groups, recreation, etc. and Angie is the kitchen manager.
Roger & Lela Heatherly
Roger and Lela are also a part of the full-time staff at Awanita. Roger works with maintenance of facilities, vehicles and equipment. Lela helps with Chloe Baltz, housekeeping and running camp store.
Ryan Addison
Ryan is a part of the full-time staff who resides at camp. Ryan helps in a variety of areas of the camp from grading/construction projects to grounds to assisting with recreation and kitchen.
Howard (Trip) Applegarth III
Trip is part of the full-time staff and helps in many areas of the camp from lifeguarding to maintenance to working on grading/construction projects.
Bob & Linda Legg
Bob and Linda are a part of the full-time staff who reside at camp. Bob works in maintenance and various other areas of camp grounds and Linda is the Office manager.
Rev. Benny and Debbie Hayes
Rev. Benny and Debbie are the staff parents and also help with grounds, office and kitchen as needed. They have been serving as Youth Pastors for numerous years and have a sincere love for young people. They are a part of the full-time staff who reside at camp.
