Our Mission
Our mission at Awanita Valley is to fully utilize the camping experience to move people in the church towards a better understanding of the totality of grace.
About Us
Awanita Valley is a non-denominational, CCCA-affiliated camp and retreat center located in Marietta, South Carolina. We serve youth, children, and adult groups from across the Southeast and beyond by offering transformational group-based summer camps, and custom retreat facilities.
STATEMENT OF FAITH:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God in both the Old and New Testaments.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. We must accept Him by faith in order to have eternal life and a living personal relationship with Him. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
We accept as a historical fact His virgin birth, atoning death, resurrection from the dead leaving the tomb empty of His body and believe that He will return. We believe that His death on the cross was and is the blood atonement for the sins of all. We believe the Holy Spirit is our seal of redemption and source of power to live the Christian life.
